SELF LOVE AND ACCEPTANCE.

Self acceptance is the ability to unconditionally value all parts of who you are. That means you acknowledge all of yourself–the good and the things that need improvement.  It involves self-understanding, a realistic, albeit subjective, awareness of one’s strengths and weaknesses.

Loving yourself unconditionally allows you to give to yourself and not seek it from anyone or anything outside of yourself. From this space when you give love it flows freely, without expectations or motives. There is only one kind of Love, and that is unconditional Love. 
Ways you can start loving yourself unconditionally.
  1. Write in your journal every day. Journal writing is the process of recording personal insights, reflections and questions on assigned or personal topics.
  2. Remove toxic relationships from your life.A toxic person as anyone who is abusive, unsupportive, or unhealthy emotionally—someone who basically brings you down more than up.You may begin to feel dependent on him or her for their opinion, doubting your own.
  3. Give yourself permission to follow your heart.“Follow your heart” is usually a phrase used as a way to advise people to simply do what they feel is right for them. it means; Follow your dreams. fulfill your desires.
  4. Forgive yourself for past mistakes. Self-forgiveness is about self-kindness. Your flaws are just as big a part of your individuality as your talents, strengths, or sense of humor. Learn to embrace every part of yourself, both the good and the not-so-good. Understand that mistakes are an unavoidable part of life, and it’s OK to make them.
  5. Acknowledge your reality.Self-acknowledgement is a muscle. The more you use it, the better you get at it. Also, truthfully acknowledging others serves to remind you about acknowledging yourself.It will make you feel good about supporting others. Self-acknowledgement is an acting and life muscle worth strengthening.
  6. Practice radical honesty.
  7. Identify your part.It is  the practice of always being completely honest and refraining from telling even white lies.
  8. Admit your mistakes.It makes us a better person and people respect those who can admit mistakes. Admitting our mistakes enables us to build better relationships and allows us to take responsibility for our lives.
  9. Own your outcomes.Owning something implies a sense of full control over it. It also means being responsible for it and the consequences or damages it might cause. Owning something extends to both tangible and intangible objects. Owning something develops one’s sense of individual and group identity.
  10. Don’t let fear get in your way.
  11. Count on your competencies.Competency: It is the combination of observable and measurable knowledge, skills, abilities and personal attributes that contribute to enhanced employee performance and ultimately result in organizational success. To understand competencies, it is important to define the various components of competencies.
  12. Show love and kindness to others.
 Ways to Show Kindness to Others:
  1. Smile and say “hello” or “good morning” to a stranger walking down the street.
  2. Pay for the person’s coffee behind you.
  3. Leave a sweet note for someone you love.
  4. Let another driver merge into your lane – with a smile on your face.
  5. Pass along a wonderful book you’ve finished reading.
  6. Bring a meal to new parents.

NOTE:Kindness has many benefits including increased happiness and a healthy heart. It slows down the aging process and improves relationships and connections, which indirectly boosts your health.

 

Removing Toxic People From Your Life:
  1. Don’t Expect Them To Change.
  2. Establish And Maintain Boundaries.
  3. Don’t Be Pulled Into Crises.
  4. Focus On The Solution.
  5. Own Your Difficulties And Weaknesses.
  6. Understand Projection.
  7. Know They May Resist.
  8. Choose Your Battles Carefully.
 Signs a person is toxic:
  • You’re left feeling emotionally exhausted after an encounter with them.
  • They try to intimidate you to get their way.
  • They try control you by guilt tripping.
  • They are easily jealous.
  • They can’t take ‘no’ .
  • They constantly see themselves as a victim.
  • They give backhanded compliments.
  • They have no respect for boundaries.
Ways to be more self-confident every day.
To be selfconfident is to be secure in yourself and your abilities. When you are giving a presentation or a speech, it helps to be self-confident –- or at least to pretend that you are. Confidence is a feeling of trust in someone or something.
  1. Visualize yourself as you want to be.
  2. Affirm yourself.
  3. Do one thing that scares you every day.
  4. Question your inner critic.
  5. Take the 100 days of rejection challenge.
  6. Set yourself up to win.
  7. Help someone else.
  8. Care for yourself.
Ways to Let Go and Move On:
Not letting go is one of the things that make some people lack self acceptance.
  1. Accept the truth and be thankful.
  2. Distance yourself for a while.
  3. Focus only on what can be changed.
  4. Claim ownership and full control of your life.
  5. Focus inward.
  6. Change the people around you.
  7. Take a chance.
  8. Focus on today.
